Common questions

How many people can use it?

Everyone. There are no per-seat fees. Your field crew, office staff, board members, even your engineers — the price is the price. We built it this way because the system works best when everyone’s contributing. Your meter reader adds photos. Your operator logs inspections. Your new hire learns the system by using it alongside the veterans. That’s how you build a map and a record that actually represents your whole operation.

Do we need to sign a long-term contract?

Annual agreements, and we offer multi-year discounts if you’re ready to commit. But here’s the thing — since 2019, we’ve offered a 90-day money-back guarantee, and nobody has ever taken us up on it. Not once.

What if we already have GIS?

Keep it. A lot of our customers run ESRI or other GIS at the engineering level and use Ziptility for day-to-day operations. Different jobs, same data. We can import all of your existing data and give you a GIS tool your team will actually use.

How long does it take to get set up?

We can have you set up and know how to map in under half an hour. If you know how to text — and you don’t even have to be good at it — you can use Ziptility. We’ve done all the thinking and design work to make it easy without needing an engineering degree.

What about treatment plants, roads, or other infrastructure?

We support all of it — water treatment, wastewater treatment, roads, stormwater, public works. Treatment plant and public works pricing depends on the specifics of your operation, so reach out and we’ll scope it together.
